10 Simple Maintenance Tips For Your Car

One of the major reasons why cars break down is the lack of preventative maintenance. I recently had to fork over several hundred dollars to get my tires and alignment taken care of. This was no big deal but the disappointment was not long in coming.

Shortly after I had the work done, I found that I still had a significant pull to the left when I drove on the highway. And the pull led me to think that the alignment clearly was not done the way that it should have been. After a quick trip to the body shop, I was able to get it fixed for good without paying anything additional. However, after talking to the person at the shop, a little maintenance could have prevented the whole ordeal.

Car protection is one major concern of every car owners. How would you really protect your car? I guess maintenance and check-ups would be the best way. Cars and its parts like gm headlights should be check regularly. If proper care is observe cars would be in good condition and may look like good as a brand new one and prevent from frequent replacement and repair. Car owners would surely experience pleasure and fun driving at all times.

I would also add to this the following:

- Replace the fuel filter every 15,000 miles.
- Replace the air filter every 15,000 miles.
- Change your accessory belt every 30-45,000 miles.

These three, relatively cheap, items can not only help you get better MPG, but also can help you from becomming stranded. Belts are often neglected until they break — usually in the most inconvenient of places.
