Take Advantage Of Free Shipping Online
We all love to hear the words “free shipping” when shopping online. Those two words mean avoiding crowded shopping centers and having an item conveniently delivered to the front door. After listening to the hype about Cyber Monday and the prediction of numerous free shipping promotions, I was ready to do some online shopping. It was surprising to find out that many sites required a minimum purchase for free shipping, and other sites weren’t even offering it at all. Here is a list of a few sites offering special holiday promotions or free shipping.
OfficeMax is offering free shipping on all purchases from their online store through December 15. You can browse through their weekly circular available on the website. Find everything from printers and planners to office furniture and computers on this site.
Etoys.com is offering free shipping on select items. Once you are on the homepage, click through the free shipping link to view the eligible items. I was pleasantly surprised to find they had a wide variety of items qualifying for free shipping. The site is easy to navigate and gives you the opportunity to narrow your search by brand, character, age appropriateness or price. They even have kids room décor.
At Barnes and Noble.com you will receive free standard shipping on orders of 25 dollars or more. Barnes and Noble is not known for bargains so most orders will total 25 dollars or more. Items must be shipped to the same location in order to receive free shipping.
When you visit Target.com, look for the red free shipping message accompanying select items. Target’s homepage says they are offering free shipping on over 15,000 items. Although, they weren’t offering it on any of the items I was interested in.
Shoebuy.com (aff) offers free UPS Ground shipping anywhere in the United States. It takes about three to ten business days for receipt within the United States. In addition, the site offers free return shipping and no sales tax! The free shipping offer does not apply on shipments to Canada.
At Starbucks.com you will receive free shipping for a limited time if you pay with PayPal. PayPal is also offering promotions with Dell, Walgreens, Barnes and Noble, HP and more. Log into your PayPal account to learn more.
Ebay (aff) made a special announcement a few days back offering free upgrades if sellers provided free shipping to buyers. Keep an eye out for these items at Ebay.com. You’ll have to search, but I do believe there will be a lot of free shipping offers.
Wal-Mart offers free site-to-store shipping for some items, and 97 cent shipping on others. Just look for the shipping options message within the product overview. Choose from thousands of online items, like electronics, baby gear, bedroom furniture and fitness equipment, that aren’t available in Wal-Mart stores. If you are using site-to-store, you must let Wal-Mart.com know whom the pickup person will be, and payment must be made online. You’ll receive an email when your item is ready in the store. It takes about seven to ten days, and you can pick up the item at the layaway counter.
Stay tuned for more holiday shopping tips!
