It's also important to look closely at alumni giving levels.  These are a good proxy for alumni engagement and thus, willingness of alumni to give fellow alums job referrals.

Now, as class sec'y of my own alma mater, I'm the one that has to pull together the class notes for my own alumni magazine.  Do your class sec'y proud and read your alumni mag more often, willya??? :)</description>
