StubHub: Get To The Game For Less
A hidden treasure is becoming very popular out there in the cyber world. StubHub, www.stubhub.com (aff) allows you to log on and either sell or purchase tickets to just about anything a ticket is needed to attend.
I’ve heard lots of positive stories about StubHub, and have a great story of my own. My own positive experience includes amazing first baseline Chicago Cubs tickets for $29 per ticket. The site is really easy to use and information is readily available.
Tickets are typically available for concerts, sporting events and theater. Anything you can imagine! However, there is a section for exclusives, which currently list packages such as a all-inclusive Super Bowl, all-inclusive Pro Bowl, all-inclusive Daytona 500, all-inclusive Kentucky Derby, Tonight Show Benefits Charity and Carpe Noctem Party at The Playboy Mansion.
This week’s top ticket sales go to Boston Red Sox, NY Yankees and who else but Justin Timberlake. A seating chart for each venue is shown once you click through on a certain ticket. This way you can see if you are in row one or row one of peanut heaven. Sign up for email alerts on the site’s homepag. An alert will be sent to you when your tickets of interest are up for sale.
Now on the flipside, if you have tickets to sale, you can post them directly to the site. StubHub makes it easy for you. List your tickets for sale, set the price, receive and confirm orders via email, ship the tickets with our pre-paid FedEx label and then get paid by check or PayPal. Stub Hub charges a small fee, which is around 8-10 percent of your profit. Instead of letting your season tickets go to waste, why not sell the tickets to the games they are unable to attend.
The ticket selling site was started by two Stanford Business School students who created the idea for a term paper. They now own a $300 million online business. There are whispers that eBay will soon be purchasing StubHub. I’ve read conflicting reports that say the deal is in the works and others that say it’s coming. I can’t predict what that will mean for the site, but for now, you can find the tickets you need for the prices you want.

I’m pretty sure that eBay already purchased stubhub, earlier this week perhaps.
