Debt Management Plan

If you struggle to keep up with your monthly credit card payments, our DMP may be right for you. The CareOne DMP allows you to consolidate all of your unsecured debt into a single monthly payment and when you complete our program, you will have fully paid your debts off! Our DMP has helped hundreds of thousands through the following benefits:

  • Pay less. Better repayment terms offered by most creditors, like lower interest rates and waived late fees, can save you considerably each month.
  • Pay off your debt faster. You’ll be able to pay off your debt in three to five years rather than the average 25 years* it could take without our program.
  • Reduce your stress. Our customers are most relieved when the stress of collection calls disappear.
  • One, easy payment each month. Your credit cards and other unsecured debts are consolidated into one monthly payment so you don’t have to juggle payments.
  • Build your money management skills. We are committed to helping our customers become savvy with managing their money. Our programs not only help you get out of debt, but our tools, tips and educational resources will help you stay out of debt.
    * Assumes the consumer would only make minimum monthly payments.

Debt Settlement

The Settlement Service is an attractive alternative to bankruptcy for those who want to pay back at least a portion of their debt, but cannot afford to fully repay their debt. On a Settlement Service, your monthly payments are typically held in a protected account and your provider works to negotiate with your creditors for a less-than-full repayment. Over time, this allows deals to be made with each of your creditors separately and allows you to become debt free usually in 3-5 years.

During the time on a Settlement Service, creditors may choose to continue collection activities, including judgments, lawsuits, and wage garnishment. It is important to consider these risks when choosing a Settlement Service.

Bankruptcy

If your financial situation leaves you unable to pay back even a portion of your debt, you may want to explore whether a bankruptcy makes sense for you. We will review your situation and if bankruptcy appears to be appropriate, we will connect you with a national law firm to help walk you through your bankruptcy options.
