What fees do I pay as a dentist to offer these plans to my patients? Are they similiar to CareCredit – advantages/disadvantages?
I would think that if anything they should be paying YOU for referring clients.
I used this company and repeatedly had trouble with them posting my payments on the account; I had a late fee, called to make the payment. I asked what amount to bring the account “current”. Well, they told me the amount, but that only included the amount from the previous billing, not the amount due onthe current billing; so the next month, surprise I was once again past due.
I paid this 3 times until they added interest fees because the account was past due!
In the end, they were useful only if I was very sure in 3 years to pay early each month. I would NEVER use this company again due to their questionable billing practices.
NOTE- their practice of after-the-fact interest accruals is now ILLEGAL.
