Why consolidate or settle when you can resolve your debts for pennies on the dollar? There are alternatives to bankruptcy, consolidation and settlement that are more cost efficeint and easier. For example what if you stopped paying creditors and did not enlist a settlement company and you worked to save that money on your own? You could resolve your debts for 10% (whole sale values) rather than 50% (retail values) and save tons of money. Would the savings be worth learning the process?
